San Diego Parenting Helpline - A New Community Service From Hannah's House
On April 15, 2020, Hannah’s House launched a Family Helpline. Trained and licensed therapists on the helpline answer calls from parents who need assistance with a range of parenting and coparenting issues. We are experts on empowering Moms and Dads to be the best possible version of themselves with their children and with each other, whether parents live together or live apart. Parenting can be stressful and children sometimes completely overwhelm the couple relationship, which needs regular care and feeding!
San Diego Parenting Helpline supports parents with any issue that may threaten healthy functioning for parents and for children. When parents call this helpline, they will leave a message and their call will be returned within the day by a licensed therapist or master-level therapist trainee from Hannah’s House. We are here to serve all parents throughout our communities.
“We love helping families and especially love helping couples return to mindfulness and loving communication with each other, no matter what challenge life has thrown at them,” stated Susan Griffin, Hannah’s House Executive Director. “We are offering this service free to parents throughout San Diego County. Our therapists can answer questions, offer resources and referrals, and provide a single session counseling model to help parents clarify their current needs and to help prioritize next steps."
Help us spread the word throughout our communities so that parents far and wide know about this amazing free resource!
